The Vikings had their second game in front of the home crowd on Friday and took on the Lowell Red Devils; Valpo came out with the win 58-39 to improve their record to 2-2. It was an all around team performance that carried them to victory, Jack Smiley led the team in scoring with 20 points, Trent Kimes finished with 9 points, Alec Platipodis with 7, and Caden Crowell with 6.

The Vikings as a group ended up out rebounding the Red Devils 41 to 25. The frontcourt had a clear height advantage that was shown throughout the entire game. 6 '8 Platipodis grabbed 11 boards with 4 of them being on the offensive end. Kimes finished with 6 rebounds, Phillip Amones, Julian Stokes, and Isiah Keene all had 5 rebounds each. The Vikings will go back to back for the second weekend straight taking on Kankakee Valley at home on Saturday.
