After a difficult finals week and cramming for tests, the Vikings traveled to Bishop Noll to take on the Warriors. Jack Smiley led the attack with 26 points, going 9-17 from the field and 4-6 from beyond the arc. Smiley was one assist away from a double double with nine assists while also grabbing four rebounds. Junior Caden Crowell had a season high of 19 points, going 4-6 from three and making a clutch shot from the corner that gave the Vikings the lead with 1:20 left in the game. Sophomore guard KJ Avery stepped up when the Vikings needed him, scoring nine points and shooting 3-5 from three.

The Vikings won the game 61-58, moving to a record of 6-2. The team will be competing in a holiday tournament in Fort Wayne on Dec. 27th and 28th. Playing Homestead and Hamilton Southeastern on Wednesday, the team will be up to their necks in game planning and strategizing against different programs. Then, the very next day, having to go against Mishawaka Marian and a team TBD, they will have little time to rest over the course of those two days.
