Valpo Falls at #2 Carmel

The Vikings kicked off winter break with a road trip down to the number 2 ranked Carmel Greyhounds on Tuesday afternoon. Valpo came up short, falling 45 to 32. Valpo came out swinging in the first quarter behind three 3 pointers including 2 from Blaine Dalton which led the Vikings to enter the 2nd quarter down 12 to 11. Valpo hit a cold streak during the 2nd and 3rd quarters but that didn't stop them from fighting to the end which led to winning the 4th quarter 14 to 5. Mason Jones was the top scorer for Valpo with 11 and Breece Walls had 9 points.
